From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address) in order to receive or use services on the Geo-Dive website. Such services include newsletters, competitions, surveys and guestbooks.

By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Geo-Dive to provide you with the services you select. When using your personal information Geo-Dive will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current Internet best practice.

Also, if you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on or to and its subsiduary websites or engage in any disruptive behaviour on and its subsiduary websites, Geo-Dive can use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop such behaviour. This may involve informing relevant third parties such as your employer, e-mail/Internet provider and law enforcement agencies about the content and your behaviour.

We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We may use your e-mail address and / or telephone number to contact you for promotional purposes, such as notifying you of improvements to the service, details of new destinations and diving activities as well as new services on and its subsiduary websites. If you receive any such phone call / post / e-mail message from Geo-Dive and do not wish to be conacted again, you must send an e-mail to stating your full name and e-mail address with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line. An option will be available on the enquiry form if you do not wish to ever receive information from Geo-Dive.
