MINAHASA LAGOON
Opened in early 2004, Minahasa Lagoon - Dive & Tours Club is situated on the mainland coast of North Sulawesi (ex Celebes). Surrounded by the tropical rain forest and boarded by an expansive private beach it is 30 km South-West of Manado, and encompasses over 13 hectares of land, crossed by a picturesque mountain river. The Resort is managed by European Directors with multilingual staff.
15 cottages, all with the same layout and standard, approx. 70 sqm each. 2 cottages are connected through a covered terrace, to enable one communal cottage for group stays or families, 2 more cottages, as well as all Resort facilities, are wheelchair accessible.
Each cottage comprises of a spacious bedroom, an adjoining room with a bunk bed, a large open bathroom and a broad wooden terrace complete with ocean view. All cottages are equipped with AC, ceiling fan, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, hot water, IDD phone, possibility for internet connection, safe, hairdryer and toiletries. Electrical sockets carry 220 V and require double pin plugs.
Considered being of superior category, the Resort offers the choice of two restaurants; the "Beach Restaurant" with Italian, International and Asian cuisine, 4 course dinner "à la carte" (selected Italian, French and Spanish wines are available) and the "Jungle Restaurant" which offers a variety of local specialities. The "Sea Front Bar" is the perfect place to simply enjoy a glass of selected wine or one of our numerous other drinks, playing games or just relaxing. Warm and cold snacks are available all day up to 10 o'clock in the evening.
Spacious private beach (which remains during high tide) composed of coral / volcanic sand, sun beds, sea view fresh water swimming pool, sea front heated "Jacuzzi" and "Lagoon Spa", souvenir shop, laundry service, baby sitting, playground for children, fax, internet and e-mail services, money changer, car rental, golf (outside the Resort).
